Through geostationary satellites and terrestrial high-speed networks, the HughesNet® integrated managed products, services and solutions provides customers with fast and reliable data, speech, video and multimedia services. Small and medium-sized businesses receive Hughes Europe’s managed broadband satellite network services and solutions through selected value-added resellers.

Hughes Europe develops, installs and manages effective private company networks. It is the leading provider of fast broadband internet access and managed network solutions for companies of all sizes in various industries, including leading names in automobiles, retail, energy (oil and gas), financial services, industry, IT and telecommunications, and the lottery.

Since 1996, Hughes Europe has managed the operations of Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes) and distributed its broadband satellite and terrestrial network products and solutions in Europe. Customers’ networks and services are managed from the Network Operations Center (NOC) in Griesheim near Darmstadt, Germany.

According to the 2007 Comsys VSAT report, Hughes is #1 in the global VSAT satellite market with more than 50% cumulative market share.
